Another Gal-3 inhibitor that appears to be working.

I still wonder what is the real difference between over the counter modified citrus pectin products and the Gal-3 inhibitors being made by GALT, and LJPC, and Galecto? I haven't been able to find anything on what the differences are (in regards to efficacy). It seems like if OTC MCP worked then the news would have been out for a while and everyone with these problems would be taking it.
