$VRCI could just as well go up.

It's the only way to shake out some who will stand to the end before a loss of a dollar. The ending price times 280 is what the new shares are expected to be after the split.

I still hold the shares of an airplane engine company that did this r/s and the shares tumbled to trip 4. The new share price was 10K times that and the tumble was felt by those not averaged down.

Here the more successful play may be to buy up to the point some leave and the remainders will clean up.

Difference with this company is it's in "season". LOL
