Revenue and cash are not tied to one another, unless following the cash basis of accounting which GAAP does not allow.

Revenue is earned either once the items hit the loading dock or once the customer receives depending on shipping terms (FOB Origin, FOB Destination). Cash payment merely flips the balance from AR to Cash on the balance sheet.
