I have noticed with Canadian symbols that have a recent addition of a US symbol, that there is a lag in price. An example that comes to mind is IBTGF/IBH.V. Price usually catches up within a day or two, but since the US side is so much more thin, there is sometimes an opportunity to trade 'behind' the Canadian symbol. I use Etrade and you generally can only trade the US symbol. There may be a way to call in and get the Canadian symbol, but I haven't needed to.
