Is it legally responsible for ERBB to promote a "seed to sale" business model when MDBX, their major competitor, has recently been granted a "seed to sale" patent process/concept that states...

"The present invention is also a computer system to fully monitor and authenticate the creation of the medicinal herb including monitoring where the seeds used to grow the plant were obtained from, how and where the seeds were grown to cultivate a plant from which the medicinal herb was harvested and the process by which the harvested portion of the plant was converted into a medicinal herb. The process includes full chain of custody of all personnel involved from obtaining the seeds, cultivating the plant, harvesting the plant and converting the harvested plant into a medicinal herb and transportation of the medicinal herb to a legal dispensary."

Many in this forum have repeatedly used this term...as has the company management, which is why the question needs to be asked...and verified...

I am not a legal beagle...but, it appears that one can see the patent infringement of MDBX upon the ERBB/Tomassi patents in this patent and a previous patent of MDBX.

One might also need to question whether ERBB's promotion of a "seed to sale" concept in their published documents might need to be thought through and thoroughly investigated by the legal team to avoid a possible counter legal challenge from MDBX for patent infringement... Just a personal observation...

On a more favorable thought...I do not know, but, if AG was the first to use the "seed to sale" term in public print, which, I would think, publicly legitimizes a copyright claim, such as published articles and songs, would they not have copyright rights to the use of the term? If that being true, then, could MDBX be infringing upon a copyright protection that ERBB maintains in their recent "seed to sale" granted patent process/concept? So many questions...so few answers...

I am sure the AG legal team has done their DD and is on top of the many proprietary issues that are certain to arise as the company becomes more successful... AJMHO, of course, FWIW
