AAL, double entries yesterday


All of CRUS, AAL, most of MU and most of SWKS assigned last Friday.

Doubled up on new AAL positions yesterday just above $53. Looked like it was breaking out from short consolidation after previous rise.

Sold Jan 30 '15 $54.50 Calls today for $2.00. That amounts to immediate gain of 3.76% on purchase price of shares. If assigned at $54.50 at end of January, there is an additional 2.54% gain on the shares alone assuming no other modifications to the total trade. Total gain would then be 6.3% in one month.

That would be an annualized compounded gain of 108%.

I also added more MU shares yesterday at slightly below $35.50 and immediately sold Jan 9 '15 $35.50 Calls for $1.18. There are only 7 trading days left till expiration. If assigned, gain will be 3.41%. Not bad for holding something for a little over a week.
