GUYS THIS IS JUST A BIT OF THE POTENCIAL AND HISTORY ABOUT COLOMBIA FOR GOLD AND WHAT THEY BEEN GETTING:
Asomineros forecasts that Colombia's gold output could reach 2 million ounces by 2007 if several mining projects take off.

Colombia produced 1.5 million ounces of gold last year, slightly higher than the 1.45 million ounces in 2003. Mineros gold output reached 75 000 ounces last year.

Colombia was once one of the world's biggest exporters of the metal under Spanish rule in the 17th and 18th centuries.
