Allergan, Peregrine in lead as readers pick stocks

Two drug companies took the lead in readers' early voting on which stocks to add to the People's Portfolio. Top vote-getters so far are Irvine-based Botox maker Allergan and Tustin-based Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, which is testing drugs that could be used to treat hepatitis C, other viruses and cancers.
