That seventh paragraph poses the question, why? Let's answer that first.

USPR has no gold, no gold-mine, but USPR does have shares, now DM knew he would have to dump the 600,000 shares but what the heck, plenty of sheep to gobble em up.

That last sentence, I disagree, DM knew there was no gold hence the Mexican's couldn't pay
