The U.S. Military provided the initial funding to develop robotic remote telepresence surgery before anyone had ever heard of it. The benefit to soldiers in combat is obvious. That's why they are interested in SPORT. I don't know why they would be interested in Surgibot which would put the surgeon in harms way.
