DRL halted, FBI visits

Doral Financial (DRL) were halted in midday trade Tuesday, while the bank announced that the Federal Bureau of Investigation visited its main office in Puerto Rico . Prior to the halt, the stock was down 9.6%, but had been down as much as 36% earlier in the session. Volume was about 823,000 shares, or more than five times the full-day average. "Doral is cooperating fully with law enforcement authorities, and we look forward to sharing more on the focus of the investigation as we learn more," Doral said in a statement. "Our commercial operations and service to our customers are not affected by these events." Doral has been with the government of Puerto Rico . The stock has lost 77% this year until the trading halt.
