You have to do things in the right order.

The fact of the matter is, if they do buybacks, then none of this BS matters much. SAIC filings, SAT filings. Nobody gives a rat's ass about the opinion of shorts or whatever if investors have a reason to believe that the share price will go up. And once your share price goes up, all your problems will be solved. Because people care even less about other people's opinions.
