First of all, synthetic per definition, is [substance] made by chemical synthesis, especially to imitate a natural product. In this case cannbidiol. A molecular equivalent is molecular equivalent. Period.
Second of all, all the cannabinoids you mentioned are only called cannabinoids because they are compounds that act on the CB1 and CB2 receptors. The PR did not say that we are creative derivatives, but rather a single cannabinoid THAT IS found in the natural extract.
Again to reiterate my point - you pulled directly from Wikipedia this:
Did you read that last portion… by making systematic, incremental modifications of cannabinoid molecules… by making systematic, incremental modifications of cannabinoid molecules… by making systematic, incremental modifications of cannabinoid molecules… by making systematic, incremental modifications of cannabinoid molecules.
Ummm the PR never stated this.
This PR was golden… you chumps thinking that whole plant extract is going to take off is ridiculous. If you understand chemistry you would understand that they will most lylike use plants first to understand what makes all the natural cannabinoids tick… Once completed they will synthesize. Why?
1. Cheaper
2. Consistent
3. Purity
Period Period Period
Still not convinced?
Take any strain of marijuana. Plant 100 seeds of said strain. Take a sample bud form each female. I will bet every single bud will test with slightly different cannabinoid profiles… within reason. In WESTERN MEDICINE this will never work. Maybe in a herbal corner shop yes… but this is about Big money… synthetics win and I am damn happy about this PR.
AND IP TOO… January will be fun. Sorry to all the whiners… but we got a train boarding here folks!
Stevia Corp is not in the marijuana business... and for good reason. It is the wild west and they are smarter to do it this way. Be glad your money is here instead of Joe's Grow Light Shop... haha.
