No. I think your caution is founded. ANY is licensing MSFT, not the other way round. This is not a revenue stream so it will not silence the critics...

On the other hand it is good news and further validation of what is occurring right before our eyes... the naysayers are ignoring the fact that the first 9 mos of monetization has exceeded the early days of citrix and is on par with the early days of vmware... where is this revenue coming from? it is from multiple revenue streams in multiple verticals... all verified by collateral sources... and the revenue demonstrates the deals are real and active...

This agreement with MSFT is about Sphere3d delivering on its mission with product optimization... it is clear to me that management's intent is to compete in this space with outstanding products that create an optimal end user experience... this agreement is huge for what it means to the development of the product line and what it will mean to the end user...

I was really suprised over the weekend at the attempt to drag out the old scam argument... this old bear is a dog that just won't hunt anymore... naysayers would do well to drop that argument as it makes them look foolish and discredits all of their arguments...

The only bear argument left is the one regarding revenues and competiveness of the product line... i predict that within another 6 months this argument too will be DOA... Sphere3d is off to a fine start regarding monetization... the 2014 Q4 revenue report is likely going to be sufficiently confusing (what w/ 2 mos pre-merger and 1 month post-merger) to allow the bears to hang a bit longer... but the 2015 Q1 revenue report (due by May 15, 2015) is likely to bury the bear... imo...

Of course, if there is a licensing agreement where microsoft, google, apple, intel license glassware, then all bets are off... this is NOT that deal... but it is good news nonetheless... jmo
