alanthill , you definitely can have a filing like this and keep the investors in the dark.

as I said in #27,823..shelf registrations are notorious for not telling investors much. they don't have to, simple as that.

there is nothing uncommon about what is happening here. no one in this board should be fearful or worried at all. shelf registrations are not inherently bad.
