It has been my speculation since the time that the shelf registration was announced that it foreshadowed an expansion by Sigma into other areas, particularly contract printing because of several needs that this would fill for further growth and PrintRite development. Sigma is on the cusp of receiving revenues and establishing a commercial presence and they seek to set things in motion which will allow for a rapid and large influx of cash. I simply believe that there are plans in place for the utilization of this money which have not been announced or discussed by Sigma.

Continuing in the speculation mode, I saw this:

which made me think of the private placement with Rockville almost a year ago. I am not saying that there is a connection, but it appears now that Sigma has two different partners looking to Asia. China has made it known that it wants to start building airplanes. I can not believe that China could build planes that will be competitive without integrating AM parts given the rapid prototype cycles and the weight savings that AM provides. China will also want to compete in the AM marketplace. My personal speculation is that this is also an area of convergence which is a great opportunity for SGLB.
