be relevant but for what it's worth, I returned to a Best Buy here in Atlanta tonight determined to see for myself the seemingly elusive UF app on, "da Samsung" (that's for you, PMC) 4K sets. I still can't figure out why it doesn't show up on the Samsung website but whatever, it's absolutely, positively on their 4k sets.
That said, I'm still having trouble understanding why we have virtually no national marketing campaign rolling out during the busiest buying season of the year. On the flip side, the 4k sets are selling like hot cakes and maybe marketing dollars are best spent on content at these very early stages. I seem to recall hearing something like, " If you build it, they will come" and "Content is king". If that's where the dinero is going I'm good with that.
Now, as for the companies relative silence, as frustrating as it can be at times I can live with that as long as they continue to produce and hit their marks. If they miss from time to time, own it! Saying nothing only makes matters worse and breeds discontent. In OTC land, that's not good. But for now and in the foreseeable future, I for one am going nowhere. I'd be a dang fool to even contemplate selling this gem!
