First thoughts are that it was not what I expected.
(1) Product looks nothing like what is on the package. The inside filling of the bar doesn't even have chocolate chips.
(2) The bar itself tastes nothing like cookie dough. In fact, I had to check the wrapper and box several times because I could not believe my eyes. I kept asking myself, "Is this product really marketing itself as tasting like cookie dough?" The taste is much closer to a fusion of caramel and chocolate - almost like a Twix bar.
(3) I understood that the bar was marketed as having a consistency that was close to an actual cookie. Not so. The bar was chewy, but that is because it was filled with a caramel-like substance.
It's not a bad tasting bar. I actually think its tastier than most of the Quest bars that I have eaten. I'm just calling it like I see/taste it.
