2da - Your points are well taken as usual and you may very well be right. The messaging from different sources at Ariad has certainly not been consistent and does change over time. Certainly, they are accountable for the contradictions and/or omissions and/or errors. I don't have a good understanding of why this is happening; and it does threaten if not destroy some of their credibility. Calling HB a lying psychopath is not an explanation and just clouds the discussion. He is many things and far too complicated to just pin a label. Managing a serious corporate crisis is extraordinarily difficult and obviously beyond his management ability.

As long as Ariad was largely successful, spokes people could play fast and loose with some details and expectations. Now that things have gone somewhat wrong, every word gets and deserves scrutiny. I do remain more optimistic than you about the eventual financial outcome which I think will come next year.

When all is said and done, both 113 and ponatinib are remarkable drugs. They speak for themselves and give Ariad credibility.
