While I understand the marketing concept, a mobile kiosk to promote kiosks that sell less than $300 per day sound like a very bad idea to me.

Stand alone mobile kiosk are generally not money makers. Some of the owners may not lose money in these kinds of ventures but these places do not add up to successful enterprises worth the bother. However, for outfits running restaurants, this kind of marketing scheme might be worthwhile for bringing attention.

I can think of two basic kinds of mobile kiosks. Those who are selling outside the venue and those within. Outside would be something like the food and beverage kiosk set up on the parking lot of a stadium, coliseums, et cetera, if allowed. These are few and tend to not work. I do not recollect ever hearing of a successful place of this kind, and by just seeing how the crowd moves past them, I can imagine the chagrin of many owners of those place.

The other kind of mobile kiosk would park within an event, such as an state fair, a holiday event (St, Patrick's, 4th of July). These will tend to do much better, but these also tend to be family affairs. Not only is selling mostly coffee, if not only coffee, by scantily dressed women just doesn't play right. I mean are you going to put such a booth at a fiddlers' convention? It just doesn't make sense. Likewise, selling coffee at a beach party. Gee, the college girls will willingly show skin for free and the drink of choice will be alcohol. I cannot imagine where this particular model could be successful. Now, if he could sell THC laced coffee, well, that would be different.

This whole idea of kiosks is nuts. I find it hard to believe that this could ever be successful. Even if Barry were honest, I could not see myself investing in such a ridiculous enterprise. Now, if he started opening some real coffee shops that sell other drinks also, along with pastries and some sandwiches, and stopped the silly gimmick of scantily dressed girls, well, there is a chance for success. Or if he opened a bar, primarily if he were out in the country and appealed to fishermen and hunters, et cetera, I can see success, but otherwise, this is patently a poor choice for anyone to invest into.
