I really like JAYBE's rationale. Regarding commentaries about ariad, I couldn't find a more objective and very well informed poster than him. I rely more on his posts than most outlets. And I agree with him regarding the Japanese partnership, but even without this JP, ariad can find other solutions to this tight financial situation ther are in especially with their very valuable assets on hand as a leverage.
