Legal marijuana will save hundreds of millions of tax dollars spent trying to enforce marijuana drug laws and free up court time and jail cells. It will create new work opportunities for thousands of Canadians which in turn will increase tax revenue. It will put many drug dealers out of business in turn making our cities safer. Companies will be created in order to produce a safe clean supply of marijuana to not only Canadians but worldwide. The income that these companies would make would also create more tax revenue for the government intern helping millions of Canadians by being able to provide programs and assistance for those in need. Canada has the ability and an opportunity to be an innovator in the world of marijuana. Times are changing, let's be a leader.
Based on that, I will vote Liberal in the next federal election.....red for the first time in my life.
