They are using imported hemp oil - how do you think CBD is extracted in China or Russia - by using solvents.

Solvent-based extraction methods require the use chemicals solvents - butane, hexane, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol—to extract the cannabinoids from the cannabis plant. These solvent-based methods are substantially cheaper and easier than CO2 extraction. Unfortunately, they can also leave dangerous residue in the end product. This can be especially harmful to patients whose immune systems are already compromised. Solvent-based extraction methods also destroy the plant waxes, which have significant health benefits.

The hemp is grown using pesticides - that is why the imported hemp oil needs to be tested for pesticides and solvents.
