There has been nothing obvious to indicate as such. It's not like this is the official message board of the stock market. The only connection I have seen is that whenever there is a pump going on, he releases a PR into it.

Most likely the promoters are hired by the company and it's all timed to reduce the hit taken from conversions. Still never good to see though.
