In my experience almost no matter where you play in the markets you are swimming with sharks. Even putting your money in a mutual fund you get so so returns and pay quite a bit for it. I don't think you can beat yourselves up just don't let the lesson be lost. You are always betting that you are right and that whoever took the otherside of the trade is wrong.
