Honestly, I don't see any problem with gross margin in the low to mid 30s for the time being. There are plenty of companies with equal or lesser margins that make billions of dollars in operating profits. At scale, efficient OpEx management, a firm with a 30-35% gross margin can certainly make healthy profits.

Chipotle for instance has a gross margin of 28% and they will earn roughly Half a Billion in Net Income in 2014.

The question here is and has always been, will they effectively manage costs going forwards...
