We hung Japanese prisoners for doing what we did.

From some of the clips I remember from years ago the Japanese did far worse than what we did in the more recent episode of prisoner treatment. I respect your position. It is what the American people want to portray to the world. Yet how does the world really think of us? How does the rest of the world feel when they read in their newspapers of the innocents killed by our drone strikes? I'm sure the Arab world inflates the numbers when reporting these innocents killed, but how many is OK and how many is too many? I don't have these answers, but find it difficult to claim that moral high ground. Waterboarded and still breathing and possibly freed, or droned and dead.

Since the war of 1812 there have been no major attacks on continental US by a foreign entity until 9/11. How much anger will Americans feel if 2 or 3 or more similar attacks happen in the future? What kind of public outcry would there be?

change subject- how do you like the way many conservatives are championing Elizabeth Warren? Gotta run.
