I'm in my 20 month on AP26113 and my CT last week was still clean. No Evidence Of Disease. It's truly a miracle to where I was two years ago! I did have a growth appear on an ovary in October and underwent a hysterectomy. The growth was feared to be a return of the cancer. I was told that they are seeing some evidence that the ovaries are not being "as protected" and may be a harboring site. After the surgery it turned out the growth was benign.
Still no real side effects to report on AP26113. I fear the unknown but I have to remember to live in today.
This drug is so very exciting. I pray the research will continue to be so very effective and positive.
