On Etrade, they have a link with their routing info etc.... that you take to your bank. My bank (Chase) charges a $20.00 fee for the wire but it is usually in my Etrade account within 15-30 minutes.

I'd set up the "Quick transfer" option with Etrade. It only takes 30 seconds. Then, you just enter the amount you want to transfer and it is available within a second up to the amount you have in your Etrade account currently. Anything above your account balance is subject to the 3 day wait period.
