Gutaquest – your comment that management “is in the same boat as other stock holders” is not quite true. They are in a position to issue options to themselves and are somewhat shielded from the dilution of the PPOs. It’s true that the stock price still affects them but less so if they tap back into the well. I’m on record as saying that PPOs can be used effectively under the right circumstances but I also think some traditional financing would be a good thing – the extra accountability that goes along with a loan wouldn’t hurt either. Funding is another area that is not either or and most companies are funded through a verity of sources. Even a little of both would be better than PPO only - IMO.
