Surfer. The correct number is 5.000. If you notice the example that you put up for reference, the example shows the number of shares as 50 . And then it goes on to tell you that it is in hundreds. But that system of using 01 to 99 is long gone by most Brokerage houses. Now they just list the number of shares " as is" .
