You should think. It clearly wasn't simply a matter of stopping a homocidal maniac. When we had the opportunity of allowing thousands of Jews to immigrate to this country, we politely refused several times. When Churchill was begging the US to enter the war, Roosevelt refused again. Pearl Harbor led us into the war against Japan, Germany declared war against the US, and finally off we went.

In any case, to compare Saddam to Hitler or Iraq to Germany is idiotic, and betrays a total lack of any historical sense.
