One of my coworkers asked me this today:

Why was the CEO at Intel and what are his credentials, if any?

IMO, Eric Kelly was there along with one of the VPs of Overland in order to present at and support the good Reverend Jesse Jackson's RainbowPUSH conference, along with many other black/African-American company executives. I doubt that it had anything to do with business meetings regarding Sphere3D and Intel. If it did, then I'd be ecstatic. Time will tell, as that was not much to go on.

As for Eric Kelly's credentials, many others know a lot more than I do about him, if they want to chime in. My favorite credential of his is that he has some sort of clearance that allows him to do business directly with the U.S. government, GSA, etc. That would be a great asset when it comes time to work on getting Sphere3D a contract with GSA to archive their previously unarchivable data.
