If we were really looking to save Iraqi lives don;t you think we would have stopped Saddam from killing them after the Gulf War. You are aware that marines in the Northern province had a birds eye view and could not stop it because George Bush 41 asked the Iraqi's to revolt and they did. Came pretty close getting 14 out of 19 provinces. Then Saddam was given permission to fly our US bought helicopters to slaughter the Freedom fighters. Over 200,000 Freedom Fighters died!
