What do you mean I'm talking 2008? You mean when Von Cummings was convicted on 17 counts of wire fraud in federal court and order to pay something like $8.3 million in restitution and sent to prison for a few months? Look at what happened since he got out. The lawsuits started again. This Madison Boardwalk thing that just settled in September was him and Jon. That $1,564,832 judgment in favor of Sebaco Siete was entered in 2008, but they still haven't paid anything on it and it has been accruing interest at 11% per annum. That's not water under the bridge from a long time ago. That's a huge judgment that is accruing a heck of a lot of interest every year and has been for around six years now. Von was involved with that. He's always getting sued with them. You can't just ignore their history. Their history tells us that they are crooks and that their company never makes any money and that all their deals fall through.

Look at their contracts. They always have escape clauses to let them out. It really appears that they enter into these deals knowing full well that they will never complete them. How could they ever complete any deal that's going to cost a lot of money? They have no money and nobody would ever loan them any real money. They don't pay their debts. Didn't they just get another judgment recently for something like $65 grand in unpaid debts? I remember reading something to that effect. They have millions in judgments against them and they don't even report them all. They didn't report this Madison Boardwalk suit for months and months after they'd been served notice of it. There is a judgment for somewhere around twenty grand from Tennessee that was registered in Miami several months ago. They haven't reported that one on their SEC filings. No telling how many more lawsuits and judgments there are out there we don't know about.

And I'll tell you something else, there are probably a whole lot more people who have considered suing these guys but they went to lawyers who wouldn't touch a case against these losers for a contingency fee because they'd never get paid. These lawyers probably advised these people against paying lawyers to handle lawsuits against Omega unless they just wanted to spend a lot of money for the principle of it, because they would never be paid on their judgments and any award of attorney fees in a breach of contract case would be worthless because it will never be paid. Getting a judgment and getting paid on it are two different things. These guys are judgment proof, and they will keep it that way. They will never own anything their judgment creditors can seize, not personally nor through Omega Commercial Finance. They're smarter than that. They've already had property seized and they know not to own anything because it would be taken from them. They're never going to have real estate or a bunch of money in the bank or anything of value to seize. Clearly, this company is going nowhere.
