I think his generosity to his community and to the arts speaks volumes regarding the integrity of the folks leading this company. Likely, he is also the angel investor/board member who has kept Cecil's vision alive. Somehow, I do not think that this man is one who will throw good money after bad. Of course, the market is always a gamble, but I know that following proven winners is always a good strategy.
