eWAN1, Inc. (Pink Sheets: EWAN) has appointed Craig S. Erickson as the company's new Director of Technology. Mr. Erickson joins eWAN from Nyko Technologies, Inc., where he has served as that company's Director of Research & Development & Product Development for the past five years. Based in West Los Angeles, CA, Nyko Technologies is a leading manufacturer of innovative peripherals and accessories for such platforms as Sony's (NYSE: SNE) PlayStation 2(TM) and PSP(TM) gaming platforms, Microsoft's (NASDAQ: MSFT) Xbox(TM) and Xbox 360(TM) gaming platforms, Nintendo's (Pink Sheets: NTDOY) GameCube(TM), GameBoy(TM), and Nintendo DS(TM) gaming platforms and Apple's (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPod(TM) platform. Prior to his tenure at Nyko, Erickson served as Director of Research & Development for global game developer, Namco Hometek, as well as in a number of executive positions within other leading consumer electronic and game platform manufacturers and designers. Prior to Namco Hometek, Mr. Erickson worked for Sega of North America as Director of Technical Systems & Software Development and was responsible for founding Sega's Midwest Development Division and creating the original products for Sega's Saturn(TM) & 32X(TM). Prior to his position at Sega, Erickson worked at Atari Corporation as Vice President of Software Development, producing in excess of 50 titles for the Atari Lynx(TM) game system while managing all worldwide software planning, acquisition and contracting. Earlier in his career, Mr. Erickson also worked as a Product Manager for NEC Corporation where he helped launch three new computer systems (the PC6001, PC8001and PC8201).
