Well we know time to a response is a good indication of duration of the response - but that assumes you are using the same drug. Nobody knows what happens if you get a quick MMR and then switch.

If one assumes that the resistant clones are already present at the outset of treatment (albeit in very small numbers), then hitting hard upfront to wipe those out and then switching to the most tolerable drug makes a lot of sense. But this is a study that likely will never be done, so this will remain in the realm of speculation.

Is it confirmed that Spirit3 is going to proceed using pona at 30mg? If so that would be very good. I haven't been following developments on this trial.
