There is a side of GS that most retail investors do not see.
For instance, GS recently paid off USA government (court settlement fine) and no sentences, for 'employees' (of course, not under higher layer command) who shorted the very same stocks, etc. they referred to customers as buy recommendations.
Also, its logical that GS is somehow involved in Quant Trading?
Why, for example, would a super large company let someone freely eat from its income possibilities?
I am not saying one cannot make money from GS stock . . . check the stock price around 2009 and then now. Same for other banks and investment houses, roughly.
Ride on the back of the elephants . . . buy low, sell high?
I do think the mood of the general market (undecided and somewhat frightened) is tending to effect our DRIO, also.
One has to ask themselves . . . WHY did not USA government support formation and oversight assistance programs . . . to real creation of small, local businesses (as a method to stabilize local employment opportunities)? While concurrently, creating a growing local taxing base. I do not care what political party you put in power,
we need common sense ideas in action.
What is really interesting about DRIO mobile device, is it fits rather nicely into future of increasing efficiency of medical care by electronic mobile means. The internet IS the health care provider mechanism of the future . . . and DRIO has a part of it NOW. With large growing populations . . . disease states increase in those populations . . . and no one has enough cash to fund direct human one-on-one contact care for those newbies. Electronic over-sight is the next best thing.
Management talent is a rarity in human skills . . . if it was not for computers and internet effect on productivity . . . we are stuck in the grove of relying on basic human emotional instincts. <---we can only increase human progress, by involving electronics in the chain-of-command structures, and care givers net. DRIO does that.
2015 should be a good year for DRIO (it has to be) Its rather Make-or-Break.
We do not have a lot of pleasant options left herein.
I (and others) are a hoping . . . we see at least your doubling of our stock price transpire. On good news . . . .75-$2.00 is possible from where we are now.
Another angle on all of this . . . just imagine if DRIO could go the route of taking blood chemistry readings, by just directly scanning the human wrist tissue blood flow . . . then no need for test strips. The Japanese did some research on this.
What GS could do is get DRIO and those Japanese Researchers together . . . toss in some funding underwriting. And, make some calls to their Washington DC friends, and spin some research funding + trial device orders and FDA Approval 'Special Emergent Medical Need Use' status. Is that not called Venture Capital Funding? Or, do they just sit in their offices and order out for $250 hamburgers? What does GS advocate for . . . Private Enterprise or Free Enterprise?
