The black line is the average directional indicator, and IMO it doesn't matter... just shows trend, and sometimes it runs the opposite direction of pps, which I don't understand. I better ask Pete, LOL!

Just want green crossing up through red for run, and seems to run hardest when green is over black, and red is under. Of course for buying, I like undervalued so looking for red over green (the more the better), and both under black. Also oversold RSI is desirable, and then a reason for it to be bottomed out fundamentally helps too.
