Now, the Washington Newspaper reports that sources say the search is down to two locations: Either the old K-Mart at 666 12th St. NW, near Metro Center, or the recently renovated soon-to-be-former headquarters Alabama Ave Thrift Store 14th Street NW. Either location selected is expected to be a front until the
company is dissolved and sold off for scrap next year.
Another option that had been on the table, the Newspaper reports, was the Old Mc Donalds on Massachusetts Avenue NW. That's the one being built above Interstate 395 that could possibly create a legendary traffic headache. But the developer behind the project said the two couldn't come to terms.
