I appreciate your comments. However I think I was
not clear enough in my statement.

Most people invest in stocks to make a profit, long
or short term. (And intend to see it though)

However, if cash funds get low they will look everywhere
and anywhere for the cash they need.

Walla....................their stock portfolios.

Because circumstances change by the second, you can
find yourself in a cash poor position at any time.

People lose their jobs, have emergencies,unseen circumstances,
etc., that require instant cash to remedy........Thus they sell.
