Q related topic at the bottom.

"To all of you who attacked me for defending myself, I find it very hypocritical of you."

What's hypocritical about what I wrote? I admit I'm a racist and a little bit of a bigot.

"Now, you want to attack religion which I never mentioned in any of my posts. This is very telling because it indicates that you have a hatred for those who follow religion."

You didn't have to mention it by name, it was clearly evident. I have no hatred for anyone. I do happen to extremely dislike the fact that people want to interfere with my life due to their religion. There is only one metion of homosexuality in the bible and that is in Leviticus. Little note of fact is that Leviticus was written 300 years BEFORE Jesus was ever born. Jesus spoke against those laws as they were the laws of man. If you still want to insist that they should be followed, take another look at them and let us know how many of them you have broken this week.

"Who's the prejudice one here?

<raising my hand>

"I don't know why I even bother replying to this because my attackers minds are obviously locked into a certain belief system which is not open to tolerating others beliefs. And the ability to comprehend is obviously beyond my accusers."

I fully tolerate others beliefs. I don't feel however that those beliefs should be forced upon me and mine. I don't try to convert you, you don't try to convert me. Plain and simple.

The point I'm trying to make is that if you don't agree with something, turn it off or walk away from it. Life is really that simple. If you can't wrap your head around something that is outside of your comfort zone, don't worry about. But, if something bothers you enough, educate yourself about it before blindly condemning it.

Life is too short to hateful to everyone. Live your life and be happy, but don't expect everyone to live their life the same as yours. "Don't sweat the small stuff, it's a long walk back to Eden".

Some things we don't know:

Why exactly did Fan agree to buy TMM? There is something going on that we are certainly not going to be told until after it's happened. The whole deal was shady from the beginning. No sense breaking from the shadows now.

What happened to the money that was supposed to be injected into Q to keep it afloat? No one knows. From the posts I've been reading, there have been a lot of dark shows this past week. And from reports from the inside, no, the employees did not get paid this period.

Why was Carol put in the role of President of the network? This is still stumping me. There have been suggestions that she was kept as a known face for the affiliates. Very weak excuse, but sellable. There was talk that she received a bonus for staying. If she did, it was between her and Fan and we'll never know.

What could be done to save Q? Keep the news live and rerun all the other shows for a month. Locate the money that was supposed to be injected and use it to buy programming from the thousands of independant GLBT film makers out there looking for an outlet for their films. Let the station go quiet for a while and don't advertise or pump it. Take care of the remaining debt so that there is nothing hanging over its head. Use the time to regroup and get all the little indians in a row, then come out with guns blazing and advertise the hell out of it in the cities it is currently available. Work out affiliate deals with various GLBT websites to push the VCD option. No more parties, parades, etc.

Remove the commercials from the network and go to a subscriber based network. You can't have both no matter how hard you try. You could still sell sponorships of shows, but no commercials.

The GLBT community will accept a channel if it has something to offer. You need to prove that you have what it takes. Is the reputation damaged beyond all repair, I don't think it is. I think there is a thread left that could be used to start the re-weaving of a new blanket. But continually throwing good money after bad is not going to keep this thing afloat.

But, that is just my two cents.
