No, they don't skit the law, they are following the law by not making any specific health claims because the FDA hasn't approved any company to make such claims. Same as with any nutritional supplement sold in GNC. People buy Echinacea because it has been shown to help boost the immune system and fight colds, but the manufacturers can not say that. People buy Horney Goat Weed because it is supposed to be a natural substitute for Viagra but the manufacturers can not make that claim. It is legal to point to studies that suggest what it can do but manufacturers of nutritional supplements can make any specific claims as to what it does.
