In one of the email exchanges posted here Rich said he believes a large group had just exited the stock after failed attempts to get IR to release news for a pumped up fake run like countless others here on iHub

If you saw the L2 and sudden insane volume that day that explanation makes a lot more sense than a few profit takers doing a large amount of damage.
