you do understand that the float will be increased by 3 times the previous amount after the 3 for 1 forward split, don't you?




Well, for one, they will need cover 3 times as many shares after the split.

You have to somehow assume the broker has that many shares. If they go through with this, the broker will likely call back all the shares he has lent out.

Otherwise, they are at the mercy of the insiders who control ALL of this stock. Simple supply vs demand ;)
