Well I think there are parts of the industry you can invest in. Ie companies that sell certain products to growers, etc.. (Like VCO*), which I like because it is still pretty much a secret in Pink Land, which means they are playing by the rules and doing things correctly.

Also, I don't know how often you go to Colorado but I go quite a bit, (twice a month) and its not the grandma and grandpa shops, but I do agree family shops that are making a great living and really understand the process and what it takes.

But like you said, in Pink Land you just never know, usually the case is a shady CEO that just wants money for their personal lives and has no real interest in growing the business plan and company. I've been lucky with Pinks and investing, but have lost my fair share to shady CEO's, its the good ones and the real companies that keep me investing...
