Noble, I'm not sure it would do much good in the short term, since Frank has arranged a better fix next month. Cyberkey has done the same thing for it's shareholders by changing the ticker. But maybe some others here more knowlegable here can help you . . . Nosey, thanks. I have been watching level II for the past few months, and I can see the mirror trades, but I am not sure I understand exactly what a mirror is. I had trouble understanding KOOK's posts on the subject, but after reading some articles, it seems to me when you mentioned "pretending to cover" that mirror trades are used to lure actual individual investors to sell shares because they see what looks like stagnant price trading activity. Or better yet, downward movement, so they can cover. The mirror is not an actual cover? because the shares they are throwing back and forth are not owned? but shorted? So, the only way for the MM's to cover their position at a reasonable price is to artificially simulate trading activity, and pick up shares dropped by loose hands. Because, the alternative is to cover at a price that individual investors are more willing to part with their shares . . . not an viable option at the moment, because they have some time to pull it together before the end of next month? and obviously are very shrewd and a bit particular about a penny here or there. It is late, so I am not thinking too clearly, but I am facinated by this. I have traded for over ten years . . . and I feel like a newbie about this stuff! If I missed it, don't feel obligated to walk me through it. I'll figure it out soon.
