A lead attorney for Herron, Lynne Bernabei of Washington's Bernabei & Wachtel, said today that "it was the order we suggested, so we were pretty happy with that. Taking them at their word that Fannie Mae is going to exit [conservatorship] at some point and possibly within the time this is litigated, it's possible punitive damages could be back in the case."
