Elite Swing Trades 101

WELCOME TO EST 101.

This board was established for and by small cap swing traders to discuss strategy, education and exchange actionable ideas. Some of us have been traders for many years and some of us are new to the craft but we all have one need regardless of our level of expertise and that’s information. Some of the Elite Swing Traders have developed their own way of doing things while others are still trying to development their own identities. Many of us have discovered there’s no right or wrong way to do things because no one way works in every situation. Based on years of trial and error we've established a set of fundamental and/or technical criteria that work’s for us. Trading by nature is inherently risky so managing that risk is a top priority however, at least to our knowledge, there’s no way to eliminate it. So we try to find situations that present opportunities for winning trades while mitigating as much risk as possible. In order to do this effectively you have to be disciplined in your approach and reasonable in your actions. Elite Swing Trades (EST) has compiled a wealth of information, provided with our narrative that is tailored to “Swing Traders”. We’ve not Investors and we’re not Day Traders so when navigating through the board, remember that the information and/or educational materials are geared towards trading. Investing and Day Trading are different disciplines and therefore require a different philosophy. While much of the information does provide a base for those activities the application differs depending on the principle. If you're new to the board please free to post input about everything and anything swing trading but please be respectful of other opinions. Remember that not every play is a winner and no one is right all of the time. Our mission as a team is to learn to be right more times than not and if you feel like you can contribute we welcome your insight.
